Description
The shot barrel is made from white oak, just like the barrel your whisky was cured in! Each barrel is tested with water to ensure a leak-free experience. However, if you choose to let your spirit sit prolonged in the barrel, there are no guarantees… so drink up!
The barrel’s inside is raw wood that has been charred with a torch. The result imparts a nice finish to your favorite blend — just like it does in the big leagues! The outside has been finished with a combination of pine resin (the original waterproofing of our ancestors!) and walnut oil (both food-grade) and should provide years of protection.
These barrels are intended for spirits, and not for anything else! No mix, no juice, no liqueurs — nothing that will go rancid in the wood fibers. Just straight booze, or water if you’re the DD. Cleaning should just be a rinse of hot water without soap, or your next shot could get that mouth of yours washed out!
